Testimonials
Thank you very much for inviting wives of retired players to the Q5 workshop in Houston this past weekend.  The topics regarding life after football were extremely informative and well delivered.  As you know, also in attendance was my twenty year old son who attends Texas A&M University and was part of the Aggie Football team until this past season, when he choose not to return to football and concentrate on finishing his degree in Communication and going on to law school. We both left from your seminar believing that “Yes we can” change our thought process in order to succeed in life.  We have since discussed our strengths and weaknesses and have realized what is needed to achieve our life long goals.

Personally,  I believe that most players look to wives and significant others for approval, therefore the workshop would be of great benefit for all involved.  I also believe that most players seek approval from their wives throughout the decision making process.

I also believe that allowing the family unit to come together can bring about camaraderie, which in turn can form a great support system.  Because some of the topics discussed can be sensitive, being able to sit and listen to the issues of other players and their significant others can be very beneficial.   Also, significant others can offer a different prospective of life other than that of the player.  In all, this forum will allow for one to vent, while also offering an open discussion for the players or their significant others, which can permit them to focus on the fifth quarter as a whole.

Bob you’re doing a great job and I hope there is much success in what you are trying to achieve with players focusing in on the fifth quarter.

Sincerely,
Brandon and Patsy Lewis
